About Shamina

Shamina “Rai” Dow is a TV Personality, Host and Entrepreneur based in New York City. She has worked as a producer and feature reporter for the Emmy Award winning news program PIX11 News (WPIX-TV). She has also worked as a health producer for Tribune’s nationally syndicated health show, “Dr. Steve Show”. Shamina has hosted on the largest international South Asian network, ZEE TV and has guest starred on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York”. With nearly a decade of experience in the television industry, Shamina has worked alongside and interviewed some of the most exciting names in the business.

Following the footsteps of her father, Shamina has also ventured into the real estate business in the New York/New Jersey metro areas.

Shamina takes the time to lend her voice and support to community based organizations. She is a proud board member of the NYC Brooklyn Youth Council. Shamina also continues to host events in the NYC metro area – focusing on community issues, health & wellness, fashion, entertainment and business.

Shamina is a first generation Bangladeshi-American, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She attended Brooklyn College and earned two bachelor degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Television Radio Productions.

Shamina currently resides in New Jersey with her husband, PIX11 News Correspondent, Jay Dow.
